electronically shall be called during anyvote taken, and his or her vote counted and
recorded by the city clerk and placed in theminutes for the correspondingmeeting. A
member attending electronicallymay leave ameeting and return as in the case of any
member, provided themember attending electronically shall announce his or her leaving
and returning.
(H)Nomember of a public bodywho is participating electronically in a publicmeeting
shall be permitted to participate in anyportion of themeetingwhich is closed to the
public, including, but not limited to, executive sessionswhich are closed to the public
under the applicable provisions of the openmeetings act, 5 IllinoisCompiledStatutes
120/1 et seq.
(I)Nomember of a public bodymayparticipate electronically in a publicmeetingmore
than 12 (twelve) times in a fiscal year.
SECTION 2:
The provisions and sections of this ordinance shall be deemed separable
and the invalidityof anyportion of this ordinance shall not affect the validityof the
remainder.
SECTION 3
: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after its passage,
adoption, and publication as required by law.
