discussing the following: Water loop for south sidewatermain, storm drainingpossiblywith grant
for EastWashingtonStreet and sink holes tobe fixed after GladiolusFestival onFranklinStreet.
AldermanKupferer: Discuss and voteonK9 squad car acquisition. Potentially replacingwith
a new car would cost approximately $30,000-$50,000. Bradley has another car that is the same
year (2008),makeandmodel as the onewehave nowwith 90,000miles. Will sell tous for $3,000.
Puttingequipment back into it would cost $1,000-1,500, Did get replacement of $10,000. Would
cost potentially $5,000 to get it upand running. AldermanKupferermade amotion topurchase car

Discuss and voteonparkingon the south-side of RangeSchool. Mayor Porter stated that the
Superintendent of MomenceSchools is aware of this ordinanceandwould like to see it work. Car
riderswill drop off andpick uponnorth sideof RangeSchool with buses loadingand unloadingon
the south sideof the school. Mayor Porter stated that if school boardmembers do not like this
arrangement/ordinance then theCitywill repeal it. Alderman Lesynamadeamotion topass an
ordinance concerningparkingon the south side of RangeSchool. AldermanKupferer seconded the

Alderman JohnMetz stated that RustySimpson, owner of NAPA, is requestingone15minute

Scott Behrends received aphone call fromSteveBlanchette fromKankakeeCountyHighway
regardinga complaint of an intersectionat SecondStreet headingeast at DixieHighway. This
intersection is not a four lane roadbut is used by some as a four lane road. Chief Swanson stated
no accidents have happened there recently. This complaint is theonly one regarding this
intersection that Scott Behrends has received (sameperson). This roadhas been striped for
businesses topark there. Possibly put white line there. If weather permits, stripingonGladiolus still
