Street,Momence. MayorMick Porter called themeeting to order.

Roll was called by theClerkwithAldermenDenton, Navratil, NovaMetz, Kupferer, Cook, Lesyna and
JohnMetz present. Mayor Porter was alsopresent. AldermanSteelewas absent.

Council Meeting as presented. Alderman Lesyna seconded themotionwithAldermenDenton, Navratil, Nova
Metz, Kupferer, Cook, Lesyna and JohnMetz voting yes.
APPROVALOFTHEBILLS
Thebillswere discussed at tonight'sBudget andFinanceCommitteeMeeting. AldermanDenton
made amotion toapprove thebills for payment. AldermanKupferer seconded themotionwithAldermen
Denton, Navratil, NovaMetz, Kupferer, Cook and Lesyna voting yes. Alderman JohnMetz votedno.
CITIZENFORUM
JohnCrawford addressedCouncil regarding a disability sign for van parking at 620NorthWalnut;
there is not adequate parking andnot enough room to unload. Hewould like topossibly get a
disability/handicap sign for their van topark. OnWalnut Street there is street parking between the sidewalk
and street. Mr. Crawford stated that there is aneed for aguaranteed space for their van. Parkinghas been
full. Originally, therewas one car, nowanother car has parked there, and since then three cars andovernight
guests areparking there, which takes upa lot of the area. It isCity property; possibly designateparking
between two signs. Request was for van to beput on sign, not just handicapped. Chief stated there is a
certain requirement for handicap andwill look into further.

AldermanDenton: Discuss and voteon recommendation from theZoningBoardofAppeals for fence
variance. Property being discussed is locatedat 528E. SixthStreet; resident would like to placea fence up.
Motion to recommendwas approved by all at theZoningmeeting. AldermanDentonmadeamotion to
accept the recommendation from theZoningBoard ofAppeals for fence variance for 528East SixthStreet to
place fenceup. AldermanCook seconded themotionwithAldermenDenton, Navratil, NovaMetz, Kupferer,
