APPROVALOFTHEBILLS
The billswere discussed at tonight'sBudget andFinanceCommitteeMeeting. Alderman
Dentonmade amotion to approve the bills for payment addinga bill for $500 to JessCantway for
cost of easement atAshStreet Railroad crossing for widening turnwith funds coming fromPublic
Property-Contingencies #10-43-70.02. AldermanKupferer seconded themotionwithAldermen
Denton, Navratil, NovaMetz, Steele, Kupferer, Cook andLesyna voting yes. Alderman JohnMetz
abstained.
CITIZENFORUM
JohnLopez addressedCouncil regarding the progress on the south side flooding stating that
insurance forms have been filledout. Mayor stated forms have been turned in to insurance
company. Mr. Lopez statedhe turned his form inand received a return call the samedayat 2:30pm
that insurancewas deniedand it was stated that if therewas a known problem that was never fixed
then the insurancewould cover.
OLDBUSINESS
AldermanKupferer stated that theCity is still workingon the south side sewer and that they
areaddinganadditional line.
