APPROVALOFPREVIOUSMEETINGMINUTES
AldermanNovaMetzmade amotion toapprove theRegular Sessionminutes of the June15,
2015, Council Meetingas amended (AldermanSteel andCook bothpassedonapproving the
minutes andAldermanDentonmade themotion topass theappropriations ordinanceandAlderman
NovaMetzSeconded themotion). AldermanDenton seconded themotionwithAldermanDenton,
Navratil, NovaMetz, Steele, Kupferer, Cook, Lesyna and JohnMetz voting yes.
APPROVALOFTHEBILLS
The billswere discussed at tonight'sBudget andFinanceCommitteeMeeting. Alderman
Dentonmade amotion to approve the bills for payment. AldermanNovaMetz seconded themotion
withAldermenDenton, Navratil, NovaMetz, Steele, Kupferer, Cook and Lesyna voting yes.
Alderman JohnMetz abstained.
CITIZENFORUM
TerryZimmerman: Southsidewater and sewage issue from recent flooding. Streets and
basements arebackedupandhewants tobe recouped for damages. Blueprintswere questioned
as towhereabouts. Zimmerman statedTimMinor found ablocked line onGladiolus Street. He
talked toSupt Nelsonandnothingwas doneabout it, water was everywhere. Mayor Porter stated
that any claima citizen has for loss needs tobe turned into theCity’s insurance. CityHall has claim
forms.
Tyler Lovell: 1. Tree removal needed at CalvaryChurch possibly onCity property. 2.
Signage at MomenceMeadows (do not park signs have been knocked down), thereare no longer
stop signs posted. 3. Pot holes onOregon east endandBaker andTaylor area. 4. Southside
flooding losses and recovery. Roads arebadon south side fromBaker andTaylor trucks and he
