Alderman JohnMetz stated that he had several things todiscuss: 1.Water at Mechanic and
Locust is gettingunpassableand somethingneeds tobedone about it. It iswipingout driveways
andpossibly anengineering firmneeds to get involved. Scott Behrends has tried toput ditch in and
stated that this area is beyondwhat streets and alley can fix. There is a ditch now, but it cannot take
a large amount of water. Mayor Porter will discuss further with engineers. 2. AldermanMetz
questionedwhether therewas anyway to put up signs by the highway directing semiswhichway to
go onMechanic andLocust Streets. Silva, VanDrunen and Johnsonville discussed potentially
getting signsmade todirect trucks onwhere to go to reach their docks. Mayor Porter to contact
those companies and see about gettinga sign installed. 3. Questioned status of 15minute parking
for bakery onDixieHighway. Right now there is a 3hour parking limit ondowntownDixie. Scott
Behrends is ordering signs andonce signs installed, police canenforce limits. Concern that every
business in downtown area to possiblywant 15minuteparking signs in front of their business.
