APPROVALOFTHEBILLS
The billswere discussed at tonight'sBudget andFinanceCommitteeMeeting. Alderman
Lesynamade amotion to approve the bills for payment. AldermanNovaMetz seconded themotion
withAldermenDenton, NovaMetz, Steele, Kupferer, Cook, Lesyna and JohnMetz voting yes.

OLDBUSINESS
Alderman JohnMetz has beenapproachedby neighbors andhas spoken toSuperintendent
Scott Behrends regardingan area townwhere the road is toreupwith big holes in the roadand is
thereanything that canbedone. Location isMechanicStreet at Locust. Damage to the road is
believed tobe from thedetour during the railroad repair several weeks ago. Scott Behrends stated
that he’s contacted IDOT (IllinoisDepartment of Transportation) and IDOThas calledNorfolk
railroad. Mayor Porter andPoliceChief Cavender to get phonenumbers for Scott Behrends so that
he is able to contact Norfolk directly to get this issue taken careof.
