APPROVALOFTHEBILLS
Thebillswerediscussedat tonight'sBudget andFinanceCommitteeMeeting. AldermanStraley
madeamotion toapprove thebills for payment. AldermanNovaMetz seconded themotion with
AldermenDenton, Straley, NovaMetz, Steele, Kupferer, Cook, Lesyna and JohnMetz voting yes.
CITIZENFORUM
JohnSokol –PresentingMomenceTheater sidewalk paver concept. Mr. Sokol stated that he
recently purchasedMomenceTheater and showedapresentationof how thenew theater will be set up
and the theater sidewalk paver fundraiser concept. AldermanDentonquestioned the conditionof what is
under the sidewalk. IDOTs (IllinoisDepartment of Transportation) wideningDixieHighwaywas
questionedand stated that wideningDixiewas not approved. Capacity of theater wouldbe
approximately 150people. Previouswork that was donehas beendonewell. Bathroomswill need tobe
put in. Receivedpermission from the theater group toput up tableduringChicagoevent. Alderman
Cookmadeamotion toapprove the fundraiser project. AldermanDenton seconded themotion. Motion
carriedwith8Ayes 0Nays.
Bill Cotter - Discuss theparking lot East of theFuneral Home. Mr. Cotter would like to remove
blacktop (City put in25 years ago) and replacewith concretedriveway at his expense. This isCity
property and therefore, it needs tobeapproved by theCityCouncil. AldermanNovaMetzmadea
motion toapproveMr. Cotter removing theblacktop locatedon theeast sideof his property and
replacing it witha concretedriveway at his expensewithall permit fees beingwaived. AldermanCook
seconded themotionwithAldermanDenton, StraleyNovaMetz, Steele, Kupferer, Cook, Lesynaand
