ANORDINANCEAMENDINGANORDINANCEREGARDINGRESTRICTIVE
PARKING
WHEREAS,
theCityCouncil of theCityofMomence, Illinois desires to ensure the
safety andwell beingof its citizens, inhabitants, and all other persons
travelingon the streetswithin theCity limits of theCityofMomence,
Illinois; and
WHEREAS,
theCityofMomence, Illinois, has determined that an ordinance should be
established concerning time limit parkingon the east side ofDixie
Highway; and
WHEREAS,
theCityCouncil of theCityofMomence, Illinoiswishes to amend theCity
Code, specificallyunder a portion of theCode known asTitle 8, Chapter
2, Section 7, SubsectionC, titled “FIFTEENMINUTEPARKING”.
NOW, THEREFORE,
be it ordained by theCityCouncil of theCityofMomence,
Illinois as follows:
SECTION 1:
That the following sentence is hereby added toTitle 8, Chapter 2, Section
7, SubsectionC, titled “FIFTEENMINUTEPARKING”, of theCityCode
of theCityofMomence, Illinois
.
8-2-7:TIMELIMITPARKING:
(C) The parking space onDixieHighwayon the southeast side thereof, next to
WashingtonStreet, shall be designated (15)minutes parking,Monday throughSaturday,
from seven thirty (7:30)A.M. to four thirty (4:30) P.M..
SECTION 2:
The provisions and sections of this ordinance shall be deemed separable
and the invalidityof anyportion of this ordinance shall not affect the validityof the
remainder.
SECTION 3
: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after its passage,
adoption, and publication in pamphlet form, as required by law.
