Scott Behrends stated that theCity has enough salt as longas snow is almost done. No
watermain breaks since lastmeeting. RegardingWater andFranklinStreet, repaired6 feet of pipe.
Chief Cavender statedwritten report has beenprovided toCouncil.
TREASURERREPORT–Treasurer BeckyPeterson stated usuallyCouncil is furnishedwith
financial statement at this timebut because of computer problems, unable to transfer information
over. Accounts have been reconciled.
MAYORALREPORT
RequestedaPublicWork committeemeeting to discuss theMFT road and sidewalkwork
and storm sewer project onEastWashingtonStreet. Meeting to beheldon April 7, at 6:30PM.
Inform theCouncil of a required inspectionof theDam. Mayor Porter stated that iswas
proven, years back, that the dambelongs to theCity. InsuranceCompany is requiring inspection of
dam, call was put in to structural engineers, approximately $3000 for an inspection. Visual
inspection iswhat is done. County engineer was contactedas towhere inspectors are from. More
information forthcoming. Considered a class 3 lowhazard dam.
