Sewermeetingheld tonight discussingproposals for sludgepumps. Proposal from twodifferent
companies: they areboth for sludgepumps, same control panels, tanks, thermals, installationand
mechanical work. Onewas for $198,541 fromBCSystems; GasvodaAssociates is $35,000more. BC
Systems hadbonding feeon their bill which is for 3%of cost andwould benecessary if BCSystems
needed tobebonded. ElectricianandPlumber wouldalready bebonded. Bonding isn't needed
becausehe is not being paidup front. His proposal if for 3payments, with the final payment not being
madeuntil job is completed. AldermanNovaMetzmadeamotion toapproveBCSystems proposal of
$198,541, out of depreciation reserve fund, will take10-12weeks for work tobe finished. Alderman
