JohnMetz present. Also present wasMayorMickPorter. AldermenDenton andStraleywere
absent due towork obligations.
Mayor Porter requested amotion to allowAldermanDenton toattend themeeting via
teleconferencebecause of work obligations. AldermanKupferermade amotion toallowAlderman
Denton toattend themeeting via teleconference. AldermanNovaMetz seconded themotion.
Motion carriedwith 6Ayes and 0Nays. Mayor Porter declaredAldermanDentonpresent. Roll was
then called forAldermanDentonas present.
Officer BrianDuncan andOfficer ShawnAppswere commendedwith aCertificateof
Exceptional Duty as first responders to a crime inSunRiver Terrace.

APPROVALOFTHEBILLS
The billswere discussed at tonight'sBudget andFinanceCommitteeMeeting. Alderman
Lesynamade amotion to approve the bills for payment. AldermanNovaMetz seconded themotion
withAldermenDenton, NovaMetz, Kupferer, Cook, Lesyna voting yes. AldermanSteeleand John
Metz voted no.
CITIZENFORUM
JayKerouac addressedCouncil wishing to discuss the recent contract for the sludge pump
up-grade, regardingbidding. Concernat lastmeeting, wherewater and sewer committeeand
Council discussedproposals to upgradepumps at sewer plant. Council did vote to award funds.
