amending city codes concerning vehicle codes, residential parkingat 37PineStreet, amendingCity
code for local banks and amending sectionof special assessment code. CalledanOrdinance
Committeemeeting for 6:45PMonMarch, conditional uponPoliceChief beingable toattend
meeting; Lesynawill let Council know1week in advance. AldermanLesyna calledan closed
sessionmeeting to reviewexecutive sessionminutes after the next Council meeting, March 18.

MAYORALREPORT
Update on community center: Lettucefish group receivedapproval fromSmall Business
Administration stating that theywould guarantee 50% of their loan, contacted 2banks and they are
not open to lend to small venture, they are talking to another bank. Scott Behrends has been
clearingout the community center. Stuff put in there that belonged to the glad fest board, possibly
was used for flower show. Mayor Porter to contact someone fromGladFest once Lettucefish has
gotten closer to receiving their funds to start business.
Call in tomainexecutivewith IDOT (IllinoisDepartment of Transportation) requesting
resurfacingof Route114 / Gladiolus, road is in bad shape. Mayor is trying to keep in touch.
State of Illinois passed law that all municipalities need to submit current sales tax abatements.
Mayor completedanduploaded copy of agreement withRiverside.
Mayor Porter stated that regardingbids of police cars, theywere sold, approximately $5,700
andan insurance check. Still have onemore to sell.
