BE ITFURTHERRESOLVED, that the intermittent closure shall be
markedAccording to the IllinoisManual onUniformTrafficControl
Devices,
BE ITFURTHERRESOLVED, that anoccasional break shall bemade in
the Procession so that trafficmaypass through. In any event, adequate
provisionsWill bemade for traffic on intersectinghighways pursuant to
conditions notedAbove. (Note: This paragraph is applicablewhen the
Resolutionpertains to a parade orwhen no detour is required.)
BE ITFURTHERRESOLVED, that theCityofMomence hereby agrees to
assumeAll liabilities andpay all claims for anydamagewhich shall be
occasioned byThe intermittent closingdescribed above.
BE ITFURTHERRESOLVED, that theCityofMomence shall provide
Comprehensive general liability insurance policyor an additional insured
Endorsement in the amount of $100,000per person and$500,000 aggregate
Which as the IllinoisDepartment of Transportation and its officials,
employees, And agents as insured's andwhich protects them from all claims
arising from theRequested road closing.
BE ITFURTHERRESOLVED, that a copyof this resolutionbe forwarded to
theDepartment of Transportation to serve as formal request for the permission
sought in this resolution and tooperate as part of the conditions of said
permission.
