Scott Behrends: generator needed for police department building. PublicWorks building has been
taken careof. AnthonyChico supplied the policedepartment with a used unit during the last power outage
and has offered that unit to theCity for $19,000 installed, it is adiesel unit andwill need two transfer
switches. If would use natural gasgenerator, wouldhave to convert entire police station. Needing tobe on
agenda. To discuss further at PoliceCommitteemeeting on July 21.
Chief Cavender distributedwritten report. Newpolice car has arrived and theSheriff's office is to
install equipment at no charge. PolicyManual has been completedand is in effect.
