ANORDINANCEADDRESSINGCATERING
WHEREAS,
theCityCouncil of theCityofMomence, Illinois, desires to ensure an
orderly and legal procedure in addressing catering; and
WHEREAS,
theCityCouncil of theCityofMomence, Illinois, has considered the fact
that catering should be addressed in theCityCode; and
WHEREAS,
theCityCouncil of theCityofMomence, Illinoiswishes to amend theCity
Code, specificallyunder a portion of theCode known asTitle 3, Chapter
2, Section 4, titled “CLASSIFICATIONOFLICENSES”.
NOW, THEREFORE,
be it ordained by theCityCouncil of theCityofMomence,
Illinois, as follows:
SECTION 1:
That Title 3, Chapter 2, Section 4, titled “CLASSIFICATIONOF
LICENSES”, of theCityCode of theCityofMomence, Illinois, is hereby
repealed
.
SECTION 2:
That there is hereby added to theCityCode of theCityofMomence,
Illinois, under and in substitution for Title 3, Chapter 2, Section 4, titled
“CLASSIFICATIONOFLICENSES”
3-2-4:CLASSIFICATIONOFLICENSES:
There shall be five (5) classifications of licenses that shall permit the licensee to sell
alcoholic liquor. Said classifications of licenses shall be as follows:
(A)
ClassA:A classA license shall authorize the sellingof any and all kinds of
alcoholic beverages, either in packages for consumption off of the premises or by
the drink for consumptionon the premises and shall allow the establishment
issued the license to be open for business six (6) days aweek,Monday through
Saturday. There shall be amaximum of seven (7) classA licenses only.
(B)
ClassB:A classB license shall authorize an establishmentwhich has been issued
anyother classification of license to sell alcoholic beverages ofwhatever kind
and inwhatever form said classification so authorizes onSunday. There shall be
amaximum of thirteen (13) classB licenses only.
(C)
ClassC:A classC license shall authorize the sellingof alcoholic beverages in
packages only for consumption off of the premises and shall not authorize said
establishment to sell liquor by the drink to be consumed on the premises. There
shall be amaximum of four (4) classC licenses only.
