Lesyna and JohnMetz present. Alsopresent wasMayorMickPorter. AldermanStraleywas absent
due topersonal illness.
APPROVALOFPREVIOUSMEETINGMINUTES
AldermanCookmadeamotion toapprove theRegular andExecutiveSessionminutes of the
January 19, 2015, Council Meetingas presented. AldermanNovaMetz seconded themotionwith
AldermenNovaMetz, Steele, Kupferer, Cook, Lesynaand JohnMetz voting yes. AldermanDenton
passed.
APPROVALOFTHEBILLS
The billswere discussed at tonight'sBudget andFinanceCommitteeMeeting. Alderman
Lesynamade amotion to approve the bills for payment. AldermanKupferer seconded themotion
withAldermenDenton, NovaMetz, Steele, Kupferer, Cook, Lesyna voting yes. Alderman JohnMetz
voted no.
CITIZENFORUM - none
OLDBUSINESS
AldermanNovaMetz discussed repairs that areneeded to thewater tower locatedby the
water plant. Videoof insideof thewater towermay need tobe done if so, it would need tobe
drainedand redone inside the tank and repaintedon theoutsideof the tank. Proposal will be
discussed for the repair and repainting. Would takeapproximately onemonth to complete; the
water tower will need to bedrained, potentially lookingat theend of June through July. Thewater
tower was built 20 years ago. Leak on feeder line tobe looked into further, the planwith proposal to
be presented soon; water for City is safe.
AldermanCook discussedmaster plan implementation committeeand their progress, stating
that theymet Friday, February 5 at 3:45 p.m. at CityHall onDixieHighway. Laid out planonwhat
parts of project canbe tackled. Hiringpart time paid curator for historical house, tobediscussed
further.
