wider street, curbs and stormdrains improved. AldermanKupferermade amotion toaccept the
preliminary/construction engineering service agreement forMechanicStreet improvement.
AldermanLesyna seconded themotionwithAldermenDenton, Navratil, NovaMetz, Steele,
Kupferer, Cook, Lesyna and JohnMetz voting yes.
NovaMetz questionedwhether the railroad fixed east Mechanic on corner yet; it is low. It has
not been fixed yet.
EXECUTIVESESSION
AldermanKupferermade amotion toenter intoExecutiveSession todiscuss theemployment
and compensation, of specific employees of the public bodywith thepotential of actions onmatters
discussed in closed session. AldermanNovaMetz seconded themotionwithAldermenDenton,
Navratil, NovaMetz, Steele, Kupferer, Cook, Lesyna and JohnMetz voting yes. Entered into
ExecutiveSession at 7:54P.M.; returned fromExecutiveSession at 8:45P.M.
AldermanCookmadeamotion toapprove the following increases: Superintendent
Behrend’s pay to $70,000, CityCollector TinaDemack’s pay to $45,000andMarkNelson’s pay by
3%. Alderman Lesyna seconded themotionwithAldermanDenton, Navratil, NovaMetz, Steele,
Kupferer, Cook and Lesyna voting yes. Alderman JohnMetz abstained.
ChuckSteelediscussed his situation regardingnumerous complaints about his neighbor's
vehicles parked in their yard over the sidewalk andahorse trailer parked in their front yard. Nothing
has beendoneabout these complaints. AldermanSteele then stated that he has 5 vehicles, one
platehas expired. Thought awarning ticket wasmore in line, instead of the$75 ticket he received.
Doesn’t think this is how revenue shouldbe raised. JohnMetzmentioned that the state is not
sendingout renewal notifications. Mayor Porter stated this couldbe rectifiedby adjudication officer
if he complies andattends hearing.

motionwithAldermenDenton, Navratil, NovaMetz, Steele, Kupferer, Cook, Lesynaand JohnMetz
voting yes. Meetingadjourned at 8:55P.M.
