Appointment ofAttorney JimRoweasMunicipal Prosecutor. Mayor Porter stated thatMomencePolice
department issues tickets (markedeither Cityof Momenceor Stateof Illinois), if ticket ismarkedCityof Momence,
theCity canhaveamunicipal prosecutor at court. Stewart Diamond is out of area, so lookingat hiring local.
Mayor spokewith JimRowe, court dateswouldbe set up in court to fall onWednesdayat KankakeeCourt House.
Mr. Rowe iswilling tobe theCity'sMunicipal Prosecutor for $800permonth. $40,000 is budgeted for lawyer costs
and at $800amonth, theCity canafford this and the feeswill comeback to theCityof Momence. Michael Parrish
will not be involved in thisprocess any longer. Mayor to talk toMichael Parrishabout outstandingbalanceowed;
his feewas hourly. Majorityof tickets nowarewrittenandmarkedStateof Illinois. Withamunicipal prosecutor,
ticketswill bewritten/marked forCityof Momenceandmonieswill comeback to themunicipality. Alderman
