Request to construct anoverheaddelivery system onRailroadAvenue . RichVoss doing constructionon
RailroadAvenue; wanting to install anoverheaddelivery system across the road. Bulding inspectors lookedat
codebook; structureneeds tobeaminimum of 16 feet highandwill beunaccessible (cannot be climbed).
Proposingnewofficesonwest side, scaleoneast side. Installingnewprobeworking remotely from officeacross
street. Samplewould comeup through tube, be tested, print out ticket, similar likeabank drive in. Oldofficewill
be removedallowingmore visibility. AldermanNovaMetzquestioned theability togounder road. Mr. Voss replied
that there is amaingas line right across road, water and sewer wouldhave toboredown further becauseof lines,
whichwouldbemoreexpensive. Seperatepermit obtainedandplans need tobegiven toCityBuiding inspector.
Appoint PatrickO’BrienasMunicipal TrafficCourt Prosecutor. JimRowe contactedMayor and stated there
was a conflict for him beingbothanAdjudicationHearingOfficer andaMunicipal Prosecutor for theCityof
Momence. Statedoes not prohibit attorneys serving indual roles, but a issues couldarise, whichwould createan
additional burdenon theCityof Momenceand coulddelay cases. Mayor would like toappoint PatrickO'Brien, a
formerCountyprocessor, at $800permonth. Mayor stated that the plane is still to keep tabs and seehow the
revenue comes inand compareswith the cost. Voteon removal of JimRoweasMunicipal TrafficCourt
