due tomedical reasons.

Council Meetingas presented. AldermanNovaMetz seconded themotionwithAldermenDenton,
Straley, NovaMetz, Kupferer, Cook andLesyna voting yes. Alderman JohnMetz passed.
APPROVALOFTHEBILLS
The billswere discussed at tonight'sBudget andFinanceCommitteeMeeting. Alderman
Straleymade amotion to approve the bills for payment. AldermanKupferer seconded themotion
withAldermenDenton, Straley, NovaMetz, Kupferer, Cook andLesyna voting yes. Alderman John
Metz passed.
CITIZENFORUM
Local businessmanPat ZuggdiscussedwithCouncil the streetmarkings at the intersection of
SecondStreet andDixieHighway questioningwhether this intersection is a two lane street.
According toKankakeeCounty it is viewed as a two lane street. Potentially discusswithCounty to
see if canmake one lanemarked for a right turnwhen headedEast on2
nd
Street. There are two
street lightswhich indicatea two lane road. Several people have illegally turned on the right hand
side and accidents have occurred. Streetmarking is needed so that citizens are aware of whether
there is a turn lane ontoDixieHighway or not. Mayor to discuss further withChief andCounty to get
absolute clarification. BecauseSecondStreet is aKankakeeCounty roadCouncil will have to go
throughCounty to resolve this issue.
