The billswere discussed at tonight'sBudget andFinanceCommitteeMeeting. Alderman
Lesynamade amotion to approve the bills for payment. AldermanKupferer seconded themotion
withAldermenNovaMetz, Steele, Kupferer, Cook, Lesyna and JohnMetz voting yes.

OLDBUSINESS
Alderman JohnMetz: received phone call regardingbad smell from theElmStreet sewer
pumping stationplant the last twoweeks. Mayor Porter stated that dryinghas taken longer. Smell
coming from beds, still some that needs tobehauled. Mayor to talk toMarkNelson tomorrowabout
the smell potentially fromElmStreet station.
ALDERMANICREPORTS
AldermanDentonwas absent. Mayor Porter brought toCouncil the recommendationof the
ZoningBoard ofAppeals to grant the request for 7 foot variance for two car garage at 509Market
Street. MeetingheldonMay 22, to discuss variance request. Two car garage, seven feet from
property line on north side. Variancewas recommended byZoningBoardofAppeals. Mr.
