For purposes of thisSection, the followingdefinitions apply:
a. Aone-wayor single tripmovement means onemove from the point of origin to
thepoint of destination. Any additional stops between thepoint of origin and the
point of destinationare expresslyprohibited. Single trippermits are effective for
seven (7) consecutive days from the date of issuance unless otherwisedirected
by theMomencePoliceDepartment.
b. Round tripmovementmeans two trips over the same route inopposite directions
with the same vehicle and load. Round trip permits areeffective for fourteen (14)
consecutive days from the date of issuance.
c. Multiplemoves are those in such close proximity to eachother in distanceor in
time that thePoliceDepartment would consider incorporating twoormorepermit
moveswithin onepermit application. Multiplemovepermits, when grantedby
thepolice department, shall be for a period timenot to exceedninety (90) days
from issuance.
d. LimitedContinuousOperation (LCO) Permitsmaybe issued to a vehicle and
load ina likemanner as the IllinoisDepartment of Transportationupon
presentation of a valid copy of the IDOT, KankakeeCounty,MomenceTownship
andGaneer Township issuedLCO permit, (shouldany of these be necessary for
access to/fromCityof Momencemaintained highways) and payment of the
appropriate fees established in the accompanying fee schedule.

Theowner or his or her agent shall submit an application fee based on the below chart
for a single routingwhichwill be valid for seven calendar days (single issue), round trip
routing valid for 14 calendar days (single issue) andmultiple andLCO routings (valid for
abase period of oneweek, one calendarmonthor quarter (3months).Multipleand LCO
Permitsmaybe issued for amaximum of four consecutive permit periodswith the permit
fee calculated in the appropriatemultiples of the baseweek,monthor quarter permit.
Permits are validonly for the dateperiods specified on thepermit and for the specific
vehicle, load and routing as established by theMomenceChief of Police or designee. No
substitutionof vehicle, load or routing is permittedwithout expressedwritten permission
by theChief of Police or his/her designee and the permit must be carried physically or
electronically in thepower unit towhich the permit applies.
