Every person licensed in accordancewith the provisions of this Chapter shall immediately post and keep posted and
in effect, in a conspicuous place on the premises, the license so issued. In the event such license shall be lost or
destroyed, a duplicate in lieu thereof shall be issued by the City Clerk upon direction of the Commissioner. In the
event such license is suspended or revoked, the posted license shall be confiscated by the PoliceDepartment.
3-2-18: SANITARYCONDITIONS
A.
All premises used for the sale of alcoholic liquor, or for the storage of such liquor for sale shall be kept in
full compliance with the codes regulating the condition of premises for the storage and sale of food for human
consumption. Sanitary measures for cleaning and caring for all glasses, dishes, utensils and equipment shall be
provided by the licensee.
B.
No license shall be granted to any applicant for sale of alcoholic beverages on the premises unless separate
sanitary toilets formen andwomen have been installed on the premises. Such toilets shall at all times bemaintained
in a clean and sanitary condition, shall have hot and cold running water and shall be in compliance with all
applicable laws and regulations.
C.
The licensee and employees on the licensed premises shall comply with the provisions of the laws of the
State of Illinois relative to the health and cleanliness of employees selling food and drink.
3-2-19: VIEWOFPREMISES
A.
No curtains, drapes, screens, doors, partitions or view-obstructing devices shall be used or built within any
licensed establishment for the purpose of concealment or hiding anypersonor patronof such establishment.
B.
The interior doors of any licensed establishment, except doors to offices where business records, alcoholic
beverage stock or cash are stored, shall at all times during business hours remain unlocked and the exterior windows
shall at all times be maintained in a condition so as to afford an unobstructed view of the entire interior of said
premises from the exterior of the premises during hours that alcoholic beverages are sold.
3-2-20: INSPECTIONBYPOLICEOFFICERS
All licensees shall make all parts of the licensed premises available for inspection by the Commissioner or any
police officer.
3-2-21: DESIGNATEDMANAGER
Every licensed establishment, whenever open to the public and engaged in the sale of alcoholic beverages, shall
have a qualified Designated Manager on the premises, who shall be responsible for ensuring that the business
