ARESOLUTIONAMENDINGRESOLUTION 130OFTHECITYOF
MOMENCEPASSEDDECEMBER 7, 2009
WHEREAS, at theCityCouncilmeetingofDecember 7, 2009, theCouncil passed
Resolution 130AbatingPropertyTaxes for the Flanders/PrecisionaireProject; and
WHEREAS, theCityCouncil intended that itsResolution correspondwith the terms of
Abatement Resolutions passed byKankakeeCounty and theMomenceCommunityUnit
School District #1; and
WHEREAS, theCityCouncil agrees that the five year term of the abatement should
commencewith the first year of the issuance of an occupancypermit for the expansion
project; and
WHEREAS, theCityhas considered all of the facts presented to it regarding the
abatement and believes it to be in the best interest of theCityofMomence to amend the
abatement period to correspondwith abatement resolutions passed byKankakeeCounty
and theMomenceCommunityUnit SchoolDistrict #1 ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE ITRESOLVEDBYTHECITYCOUNCILOFTHE
CITYOFMOMENCE,KANKAKEECOUNTY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
SECTION 1:That theCityCouncil ofMomence, Illinois, amends itsAbatement
Resolution to agree toAbate theCity’s share of property taxes commencingwith the
first year of the issuance of an occupancypermit for the expansionproject, as
follows:
