ANORDINANCE AMENDING ANORDINANCECONCERNING
BANK
DEPOSITORIES
WHEREAS.
the
City
Council of
the
City
of Momence,
Illinois
has
established
an
ordinance concerning bank depositories;
and
WHEREAS.
the
City
Council of
the
City
of
Momence,Illinois
desires
to
ensure the
safety
and
security
of
City
funds;
and
WHEREAS.
the
City
Council of
the
City of
Momence,
Illinois,
has
considered the fact
that the bank
and
savings
and
loan association's depository
list
should
be
amended.
WHEREAS.
the
City
Council of
the
City
of
Momence,Illinois
wishes
to
amend the
City
Code,
specifically
under
a
portion
of the
Code
known
as
Title
1,
Chapter
14,
Section
1,
DEPOSITORIES
DESIGNATED:.
NOW,
THEREFORE,
be
it
ordained by
the
City Council of
the
City
of
Momence,
Illinois
as
follows:
SECTION
1:
That
Title
1,
Chapter
14,
Section
l,
of
the
City
Code
of
the
City
of
Momence,
Illinois
entitled DEPOSITORIES
DESIGNATED,
is hereby
repealed.
SECTION
2: That
there is hereby
added
to the
City
Code
of
the
City
of
Momence,Illinois
the
following
section under
and
in
substitution for
Title
1,
Chapter
14,
Section
1,
of
the
City
Code
of
the
Ciry of Momence,
Illinois
hereinabove
repealed.
