ANORDINANCE AMENDING ANORDINANCE CONCERNING
RESIDENTIAL
PARKING

SOUTH
WALNUT
STREET
WHEREAS,
the
City
Council of
the
City of
Momence,
Illinois
is
charged
with
the
continued
administration
and
oversight
of
the
City
Code
Book;
and
WHEREAS,
the
City
Council of
the
City of
Momence,
Illinois
is
concerned
that
parking
on South
Walnut
Street
has
interfered
with
residential
parking at
172
South
Walnut
Street;
and
WHEREAS,
the
City
Council of
the
City of
Momence,
Illinois
has
determined
that

South
Walnut
Street shall
be
resident
only
parking.
NOW, THEREFORE,
be
it
ordained by the
City
Council of
the
City
of
Momence,
Illinois,
as
follows:
SECTION
1:
That there is
hereby added
to
the
City
Code
of
the
City
of
Momence
the
following
sentence,
under
Title
8,
Chapter 2, Section
18,
Subsection
A:
8.2.18:
CERTAIN
STREETS;
RESIDENTIAL PARKING ONLY:
112
South
Walnut
Street
SECTION
2:
The
provisions
and sections
of
this ordinance shall
be deemed separable
and
the
invalidity
of
any
portion of this
ordinance shall not affect the
validity
of
the
remainder.
SECTION
3: That this ordinance shall
be
in
full
force
and
effect
after its
passage,
adoption,
and
publication in
pamphlet
form,
as
required by law.
