WHEREAS,
theMayor andCityCouncil of theCityofMomence, Illinois areworking to help promote
local businesses and the community ingeneral to people attending theChicagoBears training camp; and
WHEREAS,
theChicagoBears players, coaches, and staff report to training camp on July24
th
, 2013; and
WHEREAS,
a resolution from localmunicipalitieswould help increase local visibilityof training camp
and symbolicallywelcome theChicagoBears to the area; and
WHEREAS,
a resolutionwould help promote theKankakeeCountyChamber ofCommerce’sTraining
CampKickOff partyon July24

, 2013; and
WHEREAS,
theMayor, andCityCouncil of theCity ofMomence, Illinois, have considered all of the
facts, and believe it to be in the best interest of theCityofMomence to designate a day towelcome the
ChicagoBears to training camp;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE ITRESOLVEDBYTHECITYCOUNCILOFTHECITYOFMOMENCE,
KANKAKEECOUNTY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
