SECTION 8. AUTHORIZATIONOFMAYORTOEXECUTELOANAGREEMENT
TheMayor is herebyauthorized and directed to execute theLoanAgreementwith the Illinois
Environmental ProtectionAgency. TheCorporateAuthoritiesmayauthorize by resolution a person
other than theMayor for the sole purpose of authorizingor executing anydocuments associatedwith
payment requests or reimbursements from the IllinoisEnvironmental ProtectionAgency in connection
with this loan.
SECTION 9. SEVERABILITY
If any section, paragraph, clause or provision of thisOrdinance is held invalid, the invalidityof
such section, paragraph, clause or provision shall not affect anyof the other provisions of this
Ordinance.
SECTION 10. REPEALER
All ordinances, resolutions or orders, or parts thereof, which conflictwith the provisions of this
Ordinance are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
ThisOrdinance shall be in full force and
effect upon its passage and approval and publication in pamphlet form and it shall also be published
within ten (10) days after passage in a newspaper as required by law.
