ANORDINANCECONCERNINGTHEADJUDICATIONPROCESSOFCITY
ORDINANCESANDTRAFFICVIOLATIONS
WHEREAS,
theCityCouncil of theCityofMomence, Illinois is chargedwith the
continued administration and oversight of theCityCodeBook; and
WHEREAS,
theCityCouncil of theCityofMomence, Illinois desires to change the
adjudication process for violations of cityordinances, and traffic
regulations regarding standing, parking, or condition of vehicleswithin the
City limits of theCityofMomence, Illinois; and
WHEREAS,
theCityCouncil of theCityofMomence, Illinoiswishes to amend theCity
Code, specificallyunder a portion of theCode known asTitle 1, Chapter
19, Section 1, titled “ADMINISTRATIVEADJUDICATION”.
NOW, THEREFORE,
be it ordained by theCityCouncil of theCityofMomence,
Illinois as follows:
SECTION 1:
That Title 1, Chapter 19, Section 1, titled “ADMINISTRATIVE
ADJUDICATION”, of theCityCode of theCityofMomence, Illinois, is
hereby repealed
.
SECTION 2:
That there is hereby added to theCityCode of theCityofMomence,
Illinois, under and in substitution for Title 1, Chapter 19, Section 1, titled
“ADMINISTRATIVEADJUDICATIONFORTRAFFICVIOLATIONS”

(A)
This section concerns administrative adjudication of violations of traffic
regulations concerning the standing, parking, or condition of vehicles.
1.
The provisions of 625 ILCS 5/11-208.3, as amended from time to time by
the legislature of the state, is hereby, adopted and incorporated herein as if
fully set out herein, and anyprovisions of this articlewhich conflictwith
said statute, as amended, shall bemade to conform, interpreted and
enforced in conformitywith 625 ILCS5/11-208.3

Penalties.
1.
The fine for anyparking, standing, or compliance violation, shall be as
provided in theCityofMomence fine scheduleTitle 1, Chapter 4, Section
