KANKAKEECOUNTYENTERPRISEZONE
AMENDMENTTO INTERGOVERNMENTALAGREEMENT
ThisAmendment to theKankakeeCountyEnterpriseZone Intergovernmental Agreement
of September 27, 2012, is by and between the County of Kankakee, the Village of
Manteno, theCity ofMomence and theVillage ofHopkins Park.
WHEREAS
, the County of Kankakee, the Village of Manteno, the City of Momence,
and the Village of Hopkins Park have entered into said Intergovernmental Agreement
under the authority of Article VII, Section 10 of the Illinois Constitution, the
Intergovernmental CooperationAct, 5 ILCS 220/1 et seq. and the Illinois EnterpriseZone
Act, 20 ILCS 655/1 et seq., and
WHEREAS
, the Village of Hopkins Park has requested an amendment to the borders of
the saidKankakeeCountyEnterpriseZone.
NOWTHEREFORE
the legal description and map of the boundaries of the Kankakee
County Enterprise Zone shall be corrected and Section 8 of the Intergovernmental
Agreement of September 27, 2012 shall be amended to include and incorporate the
property boundaries by legal description in Exhibit A herein, and as depicted bymaps in
Exhibit B herein.
This Amendment to the Kankakee County Enterprise Zone boundaries is effective upon
passage by the respective political bodies politic, execution by their respective Chief
Officials and conditioned upon approval by the Illinois Department of Commerce and
EconomicOpportunity and becomes effective upon the approval by the State of Illinois.
